Redrock wins Vodafone Testing Project
Redrock has been selected by Alcatel Lucent following its bid to provide test and acceptance services to the Alaska Programme. The project is a technology replacement programme to Vodafone, delivering like for like replacement of the existing technical delivery equipment. Redrock has been engaged to ensure that the user experience is not affected by the transition and has committed to supply the following support:
• Test execution capability
• Technical implementation to deliver the user focused capability
• Comparison assessment to existing Pre-pay capability
• Structured assessment and validation of functional and non-functional performance
• Unstructured testing to capture normal results from user error and misuse
• Capturing observations and defects to get into the development cycle in good time
• Regression test of new releases
• Validation of new release bug fixes
• Consistency of testing throughout by iteration and threshold evaluation.
In winning this bid we believe that this clearly demonstrates Redrock’s position as a genuine alternative in the provision of packaged testing services to our mobile telecoms clients
