moreSpecialists in latest ATG platform now available to UK e-tailers
Redrock Consulting, through its alliance with Stateside and Indian based partner McFadyen, has announced a new source of ATG Commerce 10 specialists, giving UK based e-tailers unrivalled access to cost effective and highly experienced onshore, offshore, and nearshore contractors, expert in the most up-to-date version of one of the most widely used cross channel merchandising software applications.
ATG Commerce 10 was launched late last year in the US to help e-tailers speed up transactions, improve merchandising, launch multiple sites and expand into new markets. Shortly after its launch, John Lewis chose the ATG platform to support its commerce website and cross channel initiatives, as part of its bid to become the leading multi channel retailer in the UK.
“While the ATG platform is one of the major cross channel commerce solutions adopted by UK e-tailers, in the past one of its drawbacks has been the shortage of ATG skills in the UK market,” says Redrock director Ben Curnock. “Our partnership with McFadyen, formed last year, began to address this issue, and with the launch of the new platform, we’re able to offer expert contractors in the very latest ATG release.”
Access to a huge hitherto untapped pool of ATG specialists is available through a customised digital search facility which is unique to Redrock and free to the company’s clients, and which the firm designed to drive down contractor recruitment costs without compromising on the quality or relevance of the candidates. The new portal - Redrock Central - will revolutionise contract recruitment by giving clients instant access to a wide selection of relevant, prequalified and experienced contractors.
“With Redrock Central on your computer and populated with well qualified ATG contractors, e-tailers will have access to their own talent pool,” says Curnock.
