The RedRock team recently enjoyed a fantastic evening at The Gloves Are Off Quiz Night, the annual fundraising event hosted by our charity partners, Empire Fighting Chance.

Held at The Mount Without in Bristol, the event brought together businesses, supporters and members of the local community to raise vital funds for the incredible work Empire does to tackle inequality and support young people across the city.

As long-standing supporters of Empire Fighting Chance, we’re always proud to be involved in events that help make a real difference. The charity continues to have a profound impact on the lives of young people, using boxing as a powerful tool to build confidence, resilience and opportunities for those facing significant challenges.

Of course, there was also the small matter of the quiz itself and after taking part for the past six years, the RedRock team finally managed to claim the coveted title. While some of the rounds certainly stretched our collective general knowledge, the combination of team work and a fair bit of fortunate guess work helped us along the way.

Winning the quiz was a wonderful bonus, but the real achievement of the evening was the incredible support shown for Empire’s mission. Together, the attendees helped raise more than £18,000 to support the charity’s life-changing programmes and services.

We’re hugely grateful to everyone involved in organising such a successful event and to all those who contributed on the night. Most importantly, we’d like to thank the team at Empire Fighting Chance for the outstanding work they continue to do throughout Bristol and beyond.

We’re already looking forward to defending our title next year – although we suspect the competition may be studying a little harder this time around!
